Two weeks ago, we had a great group in here for our Field Trip event.
I taught these 17 professionals the concept of “pushing things down.” What I mean by this is for the leader of the organization to be delegating things to others. For one, if you keep doing everything yourself, you’re never going to get to do the things that matter most. Owners and CEOs of landscaping companies need to be selling and organizing and planning, not driving the trucks, running equipment, and going to the bank and post office.
So, this week take an assessment of what you are doing and find one thing that you know someone else could do almost as effectively as you can and let them do it. Use that time to sell, organize, and plan. And then next week take another thing off your list. Push it Down.
