GROW! 2016 plain and simple was an incredible three days of learning. And it was incredible not because of what I did; however, it was incredible because of what the attendees and teachers did.
Go Big or Go Home!
We had 200 success-minded landscapers in a room sharing and captured ideas at such a rapid pace, you could not help but be inspired.
Scott Jamieson from Bartlett Trees shared his wisdom with us and made us all better with his presentation and experience share throughout the whole event. My pal, Jim McCutcheon, CEO ofHighGrove, was so helpful with his lessons about profitability and his countless interjections throughout the event. Throw in the fact he picked on Frank Mariani and it was something to see! And yes, of course, my long time friend and mentor, Frank Mariani, CEO of Industry Giant, Mariani Landscape, stole the show with his wit, humor, and life time experiences. Frank made us all laugh, cry, and think and while doing that, 200 landscapers got better for sure.
We toured a Dallas market leader in Complete Landsculpture that shared so many ideas, many of our attendees had a headache and I’m not kidding! Thanks Gene, Chris, Michael, and Team Complete!
We challenged everyone to join NALP and 50 landscaping companies who were not members before attending GROW!, are now members! This happened, because everyone caught the “spirit” of making a difference and joining countless others in making our industry better by getting involved and promoting it. When we were done on Fridayeveryone saw how they could be big and went home!
It was quite the event and by all means, sign up now for GROW! 2017. It will be at Grunder Landscaping Co. in Dayton, Ohio and it is sure to be something spectacular. How do I know that? If you think for one minute I’m going to have 250 landscapers to my place and have them leave anything other than wildly impressed, then you need to learn more about me. Past attendees of GROW! will know what I’m talking about.
For now watch the video as a reminder of what you saw if you were in Dallas last week or as a painful reminder of what you missed by not being there. There is NO better way to start a season than by being at GROW! and we’ll prove that again next year in Dayton.
