Thanksgiving is the time of year to spend with family and be thankful. So, I felt it very appropriate for me to tell you what I’m thankful for and ask you what you’re thankful for. Here are just some of the things I’m thankful for:

My family. I have a wonderful wife and 4 healthy children who try very hard in school and hopefully are on their way to being successful in life. My Mom and Stepdad Tom are doing great and my brother still makes me laugh even though he lives far away and my sister still amazes me with her talents.

My good health.

The 40 or so people that make up my 2 companies. (Photo #5) I am reminded constantly that alone I can’t get anywhere but together we’ll go anywhere we want to go.

The thousands of clients I have in my 2 companies. Can’t get anywhere without clients; this includes most of you!

I am thankful for this country and the freedoms we have.

I am thankful for you; you let me come into your world for a few minutes each week and that means a lot to me.

What are you thankful for? Please share your comments below; if we get 50 or more comments, I will sponsor a young person in Mexico for a year. My family already sponsors a young lady and we enjoy it very much. So, share what you’re thankful for and another young person in Mexico will get meals to eat, clothes to wear and an education.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am extremely thankful for my wonderful family and a great group of clients who have allowed me follow my passion and do what I love, instead of working a job that I don’t enjoy.

Marty, I am thankful for my family, friends, and clients just as you are–glad to still have my mom at 89. I am thankful for the chance to get together at this time of year with her, my sons, my grandchildren and my brothers and sisters. I am thankful to have my health which allows me to continue to work. And, I am thankful for people like you who offer guidance and who take the time to care about others. I will check back to see if you get the 50 posts. I hope you do!

I am thankful for having such a great and loving family, especially my grandmother who was the sweetest lady I ever knew, that just recently passed away. I am also thankful for my team as they have helped make my company self-sufficient to where I feel comfortable leaving to go on business or vacation and know they will still make us profitable!

I’m thankful for the gift of 18 years of marriage (so far!) to my best friend and the crazy ups and downs we’ve had that have made our lives fun and interesting. Although I get caught up in the drama of having two teenage daughters, I am so grateful for the opportunity to watch them grow, and stretch themselves and challenge my thinking. It becomes clearer to me the older I get that it’s all perfect- from the best of times to the worst of times. There’s a lesson to be learned in all of it.

I am thankful for all the men and women who served in the armed forces, and who have sacrificed so much by going overseas to protect our freedoms. I am also thankful for coming home safe after being in Iraq for 14 months. Moms thanksgiving stuffing is good too.

I am grateful for my wife, our awesome kids, the ability to make a living doing something creative and fulfilling, to learn business from a great organization like MGI ;), living in the most incredible nation under the most amazing set of principles and my relationship with the one who made it all possible: God our Father.

Hey Marty: I am thankful for all the obvious things too, of course, but I was wondering what organization the child you are considering sponsoring is through? Do you know of Compassion International? We sponsor three different kids through that organization. They provide the same food, clothing, health, and education needs, but also the spiritual needs. Feel free to check them out at http://www.compassion.com.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Grunder household!

    Happy Thanksgiving Marty,
I enjoyed your pictures of what you are thankful for. Mine would be very similar. I am thankful to God for my faith, family (and a first granchild on the way), health, nature, our country, and much more. We are all blessed!

This is great, we’re at 16, I hope we get to 50. The organization I sponsor children at is http://www.cfcausa.org/

They are a wonderful organization, if any of you can help, I strongly encourage you to do so. The little girl we sponsor sends us notes and my kids write back to them. They are very professional and it is safe and very well run. Thanks to everyone for sharing, keep on sharing.

God gave my wife and I the gift of a new family member this year, by way of a new little girl through adoption. That’s what I’m most thankful for.

I am “thankful” for having the best Husband and 4 wonderful children. Also, the freedom that we have in America to freely worship and to share the love of Jesus with others through acts of kindness. I am grateful to be a Business Owner and give back to the community in various ways.

I am Thankful for my wife of 41 years, my grown-up kids, their wives and my 8 grand-kids (and their pet dogs). I am very blessed with a Great Job and fellow workers who really care. We really need to be thankful everyday for all the blessings we have, large and small. We are so Blessed in this Country, we can not forget whom it all comes from. William Arthur Ward said it best, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”

I’m thankful for my husband, who is also my business partner and best friend. He’s a great person to work with and come home to! We are a blessed family and are happy to not only be making it through this economy, but actually growing!
