What You Allow, You Encourage

How many times do you not say something to one of your team members because you’re afraid of confrontation or you’re afraid you’ll make them “mad”? Are you worn out and tired? Tired to the point you don’t say anything about the dirty truck one of your people drives? Tired to the point you don’t say anything about the way your phones are being answered? Tired to the point you don’t say anything or stand up for quality issues at your company? Afraid you won’t find anyone to replace that habitual late arriving employee, so you allow them to continue to be late? 

How many things around your office are you allowing that you know deep down inside you shouldn’t be? This week put an end to it! Look around and identify all the things that you are allowing and see if you can gradually stop them. When you allow things to go on, you are saying loud and clear what is permitted and bad habits will be formed quickly and continue.

If you think about this long and hard, you will see, you can’t allow many things to go on and grow your business at the same time.
